Isn’t it important to build a teaching process that works well for all the students? Today’s education system demands unconventional teaching-learning methods which nurture knowledge through inclusivity. Innovative methods like quizzes and storytelling build the thirst for knowledge in every student. Integrating these methods with education can bring brilliant outcomes.

Over the last few years, the e-learning market has moved from offering one-size-fits-all solutions to now embracing a personalized approach, combining online and offline experiences. One such education company which focuses on student engagement and development is Walnut Knowledge Solutions, a Bengaluru based company which strives to create and deliver content through online experiential workshops for school children.

The Idea Varies from the Conventional One

Working with over 100 schools, the company believes in making questions more diverse and ensures that the atmosphere is fun. The company conducts innovative workshops with the aim of preparing children for the future of work. Their flagship online program QShala equips children with all the 21st century skills they need to thrive in the ever-changing future. Their well-crafted content not only tests students’ knowledge but also brings out their lateral thinking and quick strategy. It uses questions along with comprehension, context building, listening, storytelling, and many more activities.

All the content and engagement of the program is designed with the goal of sparking curiosity among children and developing a questioning mindset – by simply asking more questions about everything they see around them. The various activities in QShala help build an attitude for problem solving and teaching children to reason better and solve problems methodically. It helps children know how to learn rather than what to learn.

Quiz-masters and Quizzers

Walnut Knowledge Solutions has come a long way since it was incepted by a pair of lawyers in 2014. It has achieved numerous landmarks under the dedicated leadership of Sachin Ravi, the Co-Founder and Head of Business Development and Raghav Chakravarthy, the Co-Founder and Head of Research and Development.

After his stint as a legal manager at ICICI in Hyderabad, Sachin decided to convert his passion for all-things-quizzing into a profession and co-founded the company with Raghav.

Working as a lawyer after graduation, Raghav spent two years in ICICI Bank as a legal manager. While honing his legal skills, he always remained attached to his passion – quizzing. An avid quizzer since his days at school in Bangalore, he has participated in and won a host of quizzes on various topics.

Both Sachin and Raghav believe in and have adopted a flat hierarchical structure at Walnut. The brainstorming sessions with team members is a religion at Walnut and the best ideas are put into practice.

Every team member at Walnut is a great storyteller and weaves interesting, informative, and learning-oriented stories that stay in the minds of the children for a long time. The team at Walnut is not only involved in carrying out the assigned responsibilities, but works tirelessly. They help the company make its system, process and procedure robust and future-ready.

A Bright Future Ahead

Walnut Knowledge Solutions is inspiring students to achieve higher goals by enhancing the e-learning experience. They are working out a comprehensive system that can widen its online base making it more interactive and natural. The online platform aims to provide maximum benefits to highest number of students within the nation and overseas as well.

After transitioning to an online product, the team at Walnut is excited about its growth trajectory. It states, “Indian parents are increasingly aspirational and a product which merely supplements classroom curriculum or helps with test preparation will no longer suffice. Parents are increasingly looking at developing real world skills in their children and preparing them for the uncertainty of the 21st century.” The company believes there is huge scope in this space. It is confident about its future growth prospects and has set its sights on accomplishing ambitious targets.
