Aditya Birla Capital LTD. announced Vishakha Mulye as its next chief executive officer on 23rd April 2022, Saturday. From June 1, she will take over her new position.
Prior to Aditya Birla Capital LTD, Vishakha has been working as an executive director at ICICI Bank, in charge of domestic and international wholesale banking, proprietary trading, markets and transaction banking. She has extensive professional experience with her past endeavours as MD & CEO of ICICI ventures ltd.
At Aditya Birla Capital Ltd, the board of directors has acknowledged the appointment based on the recommendations of the Nomination, Remuneration and Compensation Committee. Vishakha Mulye will be the first female to join the Aditya Birla Management Corporation Board, the conglomerate’s top decision-making body.
Vishakha has replaced Ajay Srinivasan, who is taking up other responsibilities within the group, as per the exchange filing and will operate as the CEO with Srinivasan for a month to ensure a smooth transition of leadership.
