Ram started his career as an IT professional back in 2006. After gaining almost eight years’ experience he came up with the plan to set up Ucodice––“We believe in humanity and consider it above everything” ––where he and his team of experts can deliver people’s dreams by developing their ideas into the real shape of web and mobile-based products. As he comes from a background where he worked as an employee for eight years, he understands real problems – “Ucodice never over commit with anyone, we only commit that we can deliver,” he says – those are being faced by employees e.g. late hours, work-life balance, new technology exposure, growth, etc. He reveals, “We brainstorm on every project for optimizing and smart results,” and explains, “So we as a company provide smooth life balancing to our team. We do not have late hour culture, no weekend working, equal opportunity for everyone to learn new technologies, etc.”.

Technologies like AI and ML can help to work in a more organized and smart way that will reduce the transition time of any work. They will open a new channel of development and growth globally.
Considering the current pandemic, facing the challenges and how did you drive your company to sustain operations while ensuring the safety of your employees at the same time?
During the start of the pandemic, many projects went on hold including all upcoming projects but the company was focused on the safety of employees and considering humanitarian grounds. We did not lay off a single employee. We offered everyone work from home along with strait work hours without any late sitting or weekend working.
What would be your advice to other tech business leaders who wish to make their organizational environments the best for their employees?
Companies have to treat employees as a human not as objects because maybe you are offering a handsome package to employees but if you don’t treat them properly all will go to waste.
How do you envision scaling Ucodice in the future?
Currently, Ucodice provides comprehensive IT services ranging from the website, custom web application, mobile application, Internet of Things (IoT), business automation, SEO, staff outsourcing, etc. Since our foundation in 2013, we have created a benchmark of our global presence by delivering over 250+ projects in 50+ countries. Taking it as our base, and considering things are not very positive worldwide, we still believe we will do better than the past two years.
