On 28th March 2022, Tata Power announced a partnership with real estate developer Rustomjee Group to deliver electric vehicle charging options throughout its residential and commercial developments in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Tata Power will install a dedicated charging Infrastructure for residents of Rustomjee in Mumbai MMR as part of this agreement. EV owners will have access to a charging facility that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as well as maintenance assistance, according to an official release.
Customers may access all services, including remote vehicle charging monitoring and e-payments, through the Tata Power EZ Charge smartphone application, according to the company.
Tata Power’s Head of EV, Sandeep Bangia, stated, “We are pleased to collaborate with the Rustomjee Group and believe that our efforts can speed the transition to electric vehicle usage in Mumbai. It’s a step toward decarbonizing the transportation sector and increasing the adoption of electric vehicles.”
