T20 WORLD CUP SEMIFINAL STAGE IS SET FOR ACTION

The ICC T20 World Cup which began on 16th October has reached its most interesting stage with four teams qualifying for the semi-final matches scheduled in this week.

New Zealand qualifying first in the semis, has displayed a consistent form in all the departments of the game. Their performance has been very clinical and dynamic. They will play with the Pakistan team, which has bounced back after struggling from its two defeats. They will play the first semifinal on Wednesday, 9th November, at the Sydney Cricket Ground at 19.00 local time.

England entered the semifinals defeating the Sri Lankan team, after their unexpected revival in the match. England will play the in-form Team India in the second semi-final on Thursday, 10th November at Adelaide Oval at 18.30 local time. The campaign of the Indian team has been one of the best with their consistency in both batting and bowling departments. Team India easily bundled up the Zimbabwe team to top the table with 8 points with a net run rate of +1.319 in Group 2, respectively.

The winning teams from the semis will clash on Sunday, 13th November, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
