The Brainchild of an Architect
Ms Sainani has 20 years of experience in Architecture and Construction. She has worked with various known architects like Architect Hafeez Contractor. Ms Sainani holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. When she started her journey in 1993 to graduate in the architecture stream, she barely knew what she was getting into. But soon, the passion for the engineering behind architecture took over the concept of architectural design. Into constructing them, she gave birth to her brainchild, Modus Techno Consulting Pvt Ltd. Since then, MTCPL has been involved in various future-ready office spaces.
Ms Sainani states, “Though qualified as an architect, technicalities of construction always mesmerised me. I started my journey as a trainee with the LEGEND Hafeez Contractor; more than his designs, I was attracted to the structural and MEP consultant’s take on the design. This is the reason for establishing the construction house Modus Techno Consulting Pvt Ltd. With 20 years of unending experience in the industry, I established this construction house.”
Sparkling Inspirations
Sharing her inspiration behind venturing into the business arena, Ms Sainani says that as an Architect, she has always been curious to make things on the drawing board and turn them into reality. Of course, various factors involved in it were challenging her to create them exactly as she imagined.
So she decided to build those structures on her own with the perfect combination of technology and quality she expected them to be off. So she decided to open her own Design and Build Firm. “That’s How Modus Techno Consulting Pvt Ltd came into existence,” reveals Ms Sainani.
Erasing the Challenges
Speaking about the initial challenges that Ms Sainani had to surmount to ensure Modus Techno Consulting’s success rate reached greater heights, she says the first challenge was convincing clients, “As we were new in the market, while everyone asked us for our prior experience. Further, talented people did not want to work with startups like ours. So in the beginning, I worked round the clock most of the time, from drawing, designing, and planning to site execution, sitting the whole day and night at the site.”
The last challenge was arranging for finances. No investor wanted to take the risk of investing in a startup in those days. However, Ms Sainani kept going on, and eventually, her mother Sharda Nayak came on board as an Investor and Director.
Today, Ms Sainani is aided by her Financial Advisor, Mithun Sainani and Nikhil Jha, Technical Director MEP.
