Chinese philosopher Confucious (Kong Qiu, 551BC-479 BC) wisely said, “Everything has beauty in it, but not everyone sees it.” Although, just like everything else, beauty must be maintained, as it is not permanent. However, with proper caring and nourishment, beauty can be enhanced, and its longevity could be elongated.
Skincare is a primary aspect of beauty that, if maintained, will make the outlook more significant, glowing, and fantastic. But the market is flooded with artificial, flimsy, cheap, duplicate brands and chemical induced hazardous products which, instead of taking care of your skin, affect it badly. These products are made by those who only care about filling their own pockets rather than giving you any solutions.
Shivangi Jain, the Founder of Sharon Beauty, witnessed it firsthand and wished to bring a change. Shivangi shares, “After endless trial and error, we have produced a non-toxic and non-irritating formula which caters to every skin type. Our main goal is to ensure customer satisfaction, and we have heavily pondered upon the right ingredients.
It is an effort from our side to present gentle, effective, and simplified body care that can easily fit into our customer’s routines. With the benefits of natural oils and butter, let your skin absorb natural goodness. Quench your skin’s thirst for nourishment and hydration.”
An Inspirational Idea of a Compassionate Mind
Sharon Beauty, an offspring of Shivangi Jain’s mind, an idea that started in 2021, finally took shape in 2022. Talking about the inspiration, Shivangi conveys, “My interest in skincare comes naturally from being concerned about my sensitive skin (which I inherited from my mother). As I grew older, my interests increased, and so did my knowledge regarding skin care. At the point when I began picturing my concept of beginning Sharon Beauty, my principal objective was to bring something exceptional yet gainful for individuals who utilize our products. I needed to give skin-friendly and supporting products.”
Once in their life, each human longs to begin something of their own and make it a triumph. Pondering beginning and taking care of her own business was frightening, most definitely so; because of that, with the progression of time and feeling of dread toward fizzling, this fantasy assumed a lower priority.
Being from a PR and Communication background, Shivangi got chances to work with various brands. There, her fantasy about building something of her own remerged once more and a couple of months after the fact, she left her office as a Reputation Analyst and began investigating and exploring more into skincare as she has forever been enthusiastic about it, “Which genuinely I got from my mother,” mentions Shivangi adding, “So, with my experience and ideas, and reliable help from my companions – I chose to launch Sharon Beauty, though have just started the journey which is definitely going to be bigger as I progress.”
Success at the Tip of Trial-n-Error’s Iceberg
Speaking about the initial challenges she had to surmount to ensure Sharon Beauty’s launch became smooth, Shivangi says that trials and errors in making the formulation, finding the right ingredients, managing the labelling, and branding, and settings up the website, all this was very new to her. It was indeed challenging to do it for the first time.
And after launching – gaining attraction, learning the proper usage of social media, and making the content interesting and informative – “The journey has been challenging but at the same time, I have learned a great deal being here,” feels Shivangi.
Shivani also believes that there are many professional values and qualities she thinks the clients’ value in Sharon Beauty the most. It offers vegan, non-toxic, and cruelty-free products made from ingredients known to have a soothing, nourishing, and hydrating effect on human skin.
Shivangi expresses, “We take pride in being a service provider that is 100 % on the tenets of sustainability. For us, customers are our priority, and their satisfaction is our fundamental goal.”
Empowering Innovations of the Fertile Plain
Telling more about the innovations her brand empowers in the industry, Shivangi states that they have tried their best to be transparent about the ingredients that they use. Their products contain oils and natural butter, which is beneficial for all types of skin. As mentioned earlier, their products are non-toxic, vegan and cruelty-free. “Our products are aesthetically pleasing and appear edible which adds to the excitement of the customer who is using the product, further adding to the customer satisfaction,” says Shivangi.
Enriched with Shea butter and nourishing oils – Heavenly fragrances– An appetizing look, and the cherry on the cake, the products are vegan and cruelty-free. They do not contain any parabens or sulphates. The highlight is not just delicate fragrances but ingredients, for example – cleansers and surfactants used, which are derived from plants which are highly gentle on your skin or are known for not stripping off the skin’s natural oils. “Our products are known for giving a spa-like luxurious feel at home itself,” reveals Shivangi.
Secret Ingredients of Success
As an experienced professional, Shivangi’s advice to the budding aspirants willing to enter the business world is an open secret. According to her, the business world is full of challenges, especially for a women entrepreneur, but with each challenge comes an equal amount of opportunity, and if one believes in their product, is ready to fight it out and has the patience – “I feel the sky is the limit,” says Shivangi. Also, it is particularly important for the aspirant to believe in their product; till the time you do not believe in your product, you will not be able to do justice to the masses, and that would mean being clandestine, which as an aspirant one should not be.
Future Tech with a Human Touch
Envisioning Sharon Beauty’s operations with the emerging technologies and automated tools that are revolutionizing the business world by enabling innovations, Shivangi thinks that the benefits of automated operations are higher productivity, reliability, availability, increased performance, and reduced operating costs. Moving to lights-out operations yields a good return on investment. One of the basic objectives of any form of technology is efficiency. Like many technologies cutting across industries, automation can increase efficiency exponentially by cutting time to do mundane tasks at a faster rate.
However, this does not mean automation can increase all types of productivity. The technology works best when it is deployed for tedious and repetitive tasks. While artificial intelligence has improved rapidly in recent years, it is yet to become a substitute for the human brain. In the case of complex activities, many tasks or operations in a small business still require human intervention, both cognitive and physical.
Automation can boost productivity for small businesses by helping them take care of some of the front-loaded processes that normally would take time to do. Software programs or algorithms eliminate the scope of human error. Regardless of how deft or diligent a person is, there is always some chance of erring, and this requires additional effort in the form of review to be rectified. Because of this, many errors go unnoticed until they cause problems. Such problems can be averted if automation is deployed. Whole processes can become simpler, too. Small businesses can switch to accounting software and other types of applications for efficiency, productivity, and accuracy. Every business is made up of a bunch of moving parts, with different teams working on different tasks and employees almost always wearing a number of different hats and juggling multiple responsibilities all at once. Therefore, it is so easy for projects — even really important ones — to get lost in the shuffle a little.
Automation tools streamline communication, keep everyone on the same page, provide references to past work and approaches, and can make goal setting and deadlines effortless and automatic. Tracking progress and getting a better feel for where resources can be best allocated becomes a whole lot easier with automation, too. “Having said that, no one can take away the human touch; I guess the marriage of both is what we need,” concludes Shivangi.
Shivangi’s Take on Women Breaking Boundaries
In recent years, India has experienced a rapid increase in the number of new firms which are women owned. In a male-dominated world, women entrepreneurs and their expanding presence in India are breaking boundaries and making their way into the commercial sphere. There is a need to encourage the participation of younger minds so that they explore their entrepreneurial skills in order to become successful businesswomen.
Women-led businesses and start-ups are paving the path to eliminating the gap between men and women, which has long existed. More women in leadership positions will undoubtedly set an example for future generations, particularly for those who want to establish small and medium enterprises but lack the requisite motivation and vision.
