Sandeep Bogra: The Ultimate Problem Solver

Sandeep Bogra

In this constantly changing world, a person has to go through a number of worrying situations. This is the reason stress and anxiety are major problems in people’s lives. An inability to fulfil their demands, aspirations, goals, and failure to strike a balance between personal and professional life can result in a higher level of tension.

And according to the great American motivational speaker and world-renowned author Tony Robbins, although it is necessary to identify your problems, giving your power and energy to solutions is more important.

However, many times people could not even identify what their exact problems are. It makes them even more frustrated, because if they could just pinpoint the reasons behind their distressful situation, then they can think about solutions and give their entire focus, energy, and power to those solutions.

In such a scenario, the services of a life coach can be extremely valuable. With their new and often helpful perspective on things, life coaches can help to solve challenges in a beneficial way. By clarifying goals, and identifying those obstacles, which can hold someone back, they create a strategy to overcome these obstacles. In this way, a life coach can be the ultimate problem solver.

With strong willpower to solve people’s severest problems, Sandeep Bogra, – Certified as a Life Coach under Tony Robbins, USA, whom he has admired and followed as his Guru (mentor) for over 18 years – Founded Someone You Need”, a life and relationship coaching service, in 2012.

And by winning the trust and confidence of clients over the last decade, Sandeep keeps providing professional coaching to all the people trapped in their problems, transforming their lives into the best possible lifetimes.

In an interview with Insights Success for its edition of ‘India’s 40 under 40 Brightest Business Leaders, Sandeep talked about his accomplishments, initial challenges, professional values, and qualities, and how he is adopting emerging technologies to stay updated.

Please describe Someone You Need since its inception.

I have been guiding close-knit family and friends for almost two decades, yet my official journey started a decade ago, when I founded “Someone You Need”, a life and relationship coaching service in 2012.

  • While I believe that every life touched and transformed over the years (and their testimonials received) is an achievement in itself, I feel glad to share a few accomplishments like:

Being ‘passionate about people’, continuing my journey of life and relationship coaching service with a burning desire: Touch and Transform Lives for the Better.

What was your inspiration behind venturing into the business arena?

Inspired by my personal experiences, I started guiding my friends and family several years ago and realized there were countless people in the world outside, waiting for Someone, with whom they could speak their hearts, with full trust and confidence and receive professional coaching, using proven tools and strategies, to steer in the direction of success.

What’s the point that I faced numerous challenges in my life, overcame them like a phoenix rising from the ashes, but did nothing to assist anyone else?

My problems gave me the purpose to serve others and turn my mess into a message.

Being ‘passionate about people’ and continuously striving to add value to other’s lives and relationships, I founded “Someone You Need” in 2012, based on the belief that when something goes wrong, you really need Someone to speak up with and feel understood, to help you have meaningful choices in life.

My Burning Desire: “Touch and Transform Lives for the Better

What were the initial challenges that you had to surmount to ensure Someone You Need’s success rate to reach greater heights?

Life is a set of experiences and challenges all the way. While every new day brings along with something ‘unknown yet exciting’ to deal with, the initial days of setting up my ‘passionate profession’ – it’s the way I describe my business of life and relationship coaching – was a roller coaster ride.

While the opportunities always existed everywhere around, still the idea of life and relationship coaching was in a very nascent stage, especially in India a decade ago.

Moreover, the majority confused it with being a patient suffering from mental health issues (which is certainly never the case) and believed it was merely a counselling session focusing on just the past things in one’s life.

While I started being a certified Counsellor, I knew something was missing to empower my clients in implementing ideas and derive results effortlessly and effectively.

As the options to explore and learn online were quite limited, I reached out to the established ones in the industry somehow and discovered the idea of getting trained as a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner (to bridge the gap).

Since I’m a Chartered Accountant and MBA (Finance) as well; started my career with McKinsey and Company and worked as a Management Consultant in India and across the Middle East, the nuances of envisioning, planning, and handling such segments of my business were dealt with smoothly.

Focus and Determined Action’, something I learnt from my mentor Tony Robbins helped me sail through turbulent times in the initial days and still keeps me going.

What professional values and qualities do you think your clients value in you and your company the most?

Trust is one of the biggest and finest attributes my clients experience always, with an assurance that I’m always there to care.

I always ensure everyone gains 100% Clarity about what to do and how to proceed with in every situation they are stuck with, using my unmatched style of crafting a crystal-clear roadmap. Listening is a fine art, and my clients experience its power to the fullest, when I provide them with a safe, non-judgmental environment to speak their heart.

I focus on making clients self-reliant, with my flagship SMART coaching methodology. I’m a strategist and assist others in establishing and achieving result-oriented goals in life and relationships. As a ‘Catalyst for Change’, I ensure my customers are well-equipped to make informed choices and act upon it timely.

What are the USPs that highlight your brand/company’s uniqueness in the industry you are catering to?

While my clients describe numerous instances and offerings how I differentiate myself from others, I would like to mention a few things that add unique flavour to my coaching, namely:

  • 100% Clarity in Life and Relationships
  • Answers to All your Questions
  • Yes, I Give Advice (1st in the industry)
  • No Compulsion for Minimum No. of Sessions
  • Continuous Support Between Sessions
  • Multiple times Awarded Best Life and Relationship Coach globally
  • Say ‘No’ to labels like ADHD, BPD etc.
  • 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed

I work ‘professionally with a personal touch’, ensuring clients experience a smooth transition through different stages of life and relationships.

As an experienced professional, what would you like to advise the budding aspirants willing to enter the business world?

In the world of T20 cricket, one needs to be a real test match player to win the game in the business world. While there are numerous options available online to learn, experiment and grow nowadays (including support from the industry, VCs, and government), one still needs to dive into the ocean to find the real pearls!

  • I personally believe three things really help any budding entrepreneur –
  • Discovering your passion and hidden talents to make it happen.
  • A strong convincing reason behind getting started to help you stay (when things get difficult, and you feel like running away).
  • Flexibility in approach and action (with changing times and new opportunities)
  • My Mantra for Success in everything in life – Do whatever it takes…

How do you envision your company’s operations with the emerging technologies and automated tools that are revolutionizing the business world by enabling innovations?

With every problem, comes a new opportunity.

The COVID times have helped us realise this truth and provided multiple options to make difficult times worthwhile. The world has witnessed a sea-change in every aspect and the conventional ways of business operations have been redefined.

‘Up or Out’ – something I learnt a decade ago still holds good and reminds us of being flexible and invested enough to learn and implement the emerging technologies and automation, especially when everything has turned online in the last two years.

While this change seemed difficult (just like every new experience for the first time), it is one of the best times in history to restructure your working style and carry out business operations from the comfort of your home (and while holidaying as well).

We are plying on a similar trajectory and look forward to making the most of it, with the online world already allowing us to work with clients across the globe.
