The Inspiration
Sanaz Hooman’s family is her biggest inspiration. Arriving in Canada as an immigrant when she was a little girl, with her family in pursuit of big dreams and new hopes for the future, she saw the hard work and dedication her parents put into building a life for her family. Challenges Faced
Growing any business has its own challenges, there are standard ones such as building your brand image and creating impeccable products, developing a loyal customer base, and assembling the right support system for the business. Being an international business, Opulence Global also encountered these challenges on a global scaled such as logistics matters, regulatory restrictions, and localized market expansion complications.

The pandemic has most certainly affected Opulence Global and brought on its own set of challenges. Under the leadership of its Mr. Mesgarlou, Opulence Global was able to thrive and had a record-
breaking year in the middle of the pandemic with revenue growing 364%. Opulence Global’s e-commerce platform, allowed them to run their business virtually, servicing their customers worldwide with minimal interruptions when most of the world was under stay-at-home orders.
The pandemic inspired Opulence Global to create products that help support well-being, making microbe cleansing a proprietary in their product development. Since then, they have further expanded their FERI Microsilver Protection line, which now includes the natural spray that cleans the microbes off their cloth face masks in between wash. And last but not least, as the CEO of Opulence Global always says “Your ‘why’ should make you cry.” What that means is that you are so emotionally attached to the reason you started your business journey that when you think about it, it makes you cry. When in doubt, remember why you got started,” she emphasizes.
