Samsung to have Scratch and reflection-resistant cameras in their next phones

Samsung will be the first smartphone company again to use Corning’s new Gorilla Glass DX and DX plus glass composite covers for smartphone cameras. The thin layers of DX and DX plus glass are created by fusing glass with coatings for antireflection, which will sit on top of the camera lenses to make them more durable and improve image quality.

Samsung is anticipated to launch a new Galaxy Z Fold 3 and an updated Z Flip 3 this year, which will feature a front-facing camera embedded beneath the screen and a refined rear-facing camera that will use the new Corning glass technology.
