She is so passionate about cosmetic treatments and creating beautiful faces that when the Insights Success team approached her for an interview for our edition of ‘India’s Most Reliable Hair Clinics,’ she agreed instantly.

Please, describe Regain in brief.
Regain is a one roof solution for all aesthetics treatments, which includes hair transplantation, hair fall control treatments, anti-ageing treatments like Botox, fillers, non-surgical thread lifts, pigmentation, acne, and acne scars, and semi-permanent makeup, which includes micro-pigmentation of eyebrows, lips, scalp, micro-blading, and semi-permanent BB glow.
What made you venture into the hair care space?
I have been passionate about being a doctor since my childhood. My interest in beauty and fashion made me land in the cosmetic field, which includes hair and skin and sculpting faces and creating beautiful looks and providing service in the cosmetic area as much as possible.
What kind of offerings do you provide to your clients?
I give a completely holistic approach to my clients. Since hair’s health ultimately depends on an individual’s overall health, it first affects cells in the human body or hair follicles if a person is not healthy enough. So, it will not give any results with only hair treatments without treating underlying health conditions. So, we first treat the underlying root causes of hair fall. After that, we provide treatments like platelet-rich plasma therapy, stem cells therapy, low-level laser therapy, nutrition supplements, and lifestyle modifications.
What kind of challenges have you faced while entering the hair care space?
Since there is not a single reason for hair loss but multiple factors, it needs multiple sessions to treat hair fall. Many times, it is related to hormonal issues. It is difficult to diagnose the accurate cause of hair fall and needs a minimum of three to six months of treatment for good results.
The cosmetic field is demanding and expensive, requires lots of equipment and inventories, and needs high investment demand. It was a challenge. Further, financial challenges were there in the initial stage.
How was Regain affected in these pandemic times, and what were the steps you took to curb the damages while helping your clients and maintaining the safety of your employees?
Yes, the pandemic impacted the cosmetic field from small businesses to large ventures. We provided online consultations, online medicines and counselling, diet, and lifestyle corrections and followed in-house COVID restrictions and protocols. We have taken all COVID safety measurements during the pandemic.
And in most of the cases we had regarding hair fall, we observed that most of them faced the issue after the COVID sickness. Any viral fevers, including COVID-19, affect human hair and usage of long-term antibiotics and antiviral drugs and post-hospitalization, the hair fall will be more. We encountered many such cases during this pandemic.
What would you like to advice the young generation of entrepreneurs?
The first quality for every entrepreneur is understanding human psychology and understanding the current scenario and meeting the client’s expectations and demands. Giving what client needs is the secrete of a successful entrepreneur.
Where do you envision Regain to be in the long run, and what are your future goals? How do you plan to embrace the changes happening in the hair care space?
I want to see my business entirely sophisticated, with all cosmetic services at best and affordable prices and more result-oriented and not commercial.
And we are inviting more investors to expand our business all over to provide the best services to all and boost individual confidence for better living.
What is the current industrial scenario of the hair care space?
If we look back to ten-fifteen years, there were no doctors for hair care, and no one used to go to the doctor for hair fall. Everyone used to have healthy and long hair because of their lifestyle and the food and hair wash products.
In today’s scenario, everyone is leading a stressful life, and both women and men are working on the clock. Everyone has to travel daily for work, and it exposes their body to a lot of pollution in the environment.
And the quality of food has been deteriorating, and there are more chemical-laden hair wash products available in the market. People who are more interested in styling and fashion tend to change their hairstyle every day by way of hair colouring, hair dying with chemical products, damaging their hair internally.
People are mainly concentrating on external beauty rather than internal health. It must change. You all must follow a healthy and happy way of living.
