G20 University Connect Finale program

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address the G20 University Connect Finale program today, September 26, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, starting at approximately 4 p.m.

The G20 University Connect initiative marked a historic participation with the involvement of over 50 million young individuals representing various schools, higher education institutions, and skill development centers from across the nation.

The G20 University Connect Finale event will be attended by approximately 3,000 students, faculty members, and Vice Chancellors from participating universities at the event venue. Furthermore, students from all over the country will join the live event.

The G20 University Connect initiative was launched with the primary objective of creating greater awareness about India’s G20 Presidency among the nation’s youth and encouraging their active participation in various G20 activities.

The program initially engaged over 1 lakh students from universities throughout India. Originally planned for 75 universities to commemorate India’s 75 years of independence, the initiative subsequently expanded its scope to include 101 universities nationwide.

Numerous events were organized across the country as part of the G-20 University Connect initiative, garnering significant participation from higher education institutions. What initially commenced as a university-focused program evolved to encompass schools and colleges, thereby broadening its outreach to an even wider demographic.
