Our Company name is Pinakin Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. We have a Portfolio of 6.3 MW on OPEX model and now we are doing small ground mounted and roof top projects (10 KW to 5 MW) on CAPEX modules

2. Brief us about the featured person and their journey in the green energy space.
Gulab Singh (Chairman and Managing Director)
Gulab Singh has more than 33 years of experience in project planning, project management and execution of thermal projects, oil refineries, cross country pipelines and solar projects. He has worked in renowned companies like NTPC, Engineers India limited, Reliance Industries, Reliance Power, Welspun Energy, ACME, and Sterling & Wilson.
He has worked as COO in ACME Clean tech and as Director (Projects) in Sterling & Wilson.
Mukesh Choudhary (Director – Operations)
Mukesh has more than 12 years of experience in execution of solar project and executed more than 2500 MW of solar projects in India for various developers like Adani, Welspun, Avada Energy, Solaire direct, Tata Power, Tata international, Myrta Energy and Nuevo sol Energy.
3. What kind of green solutions or services does your company provides?
Our Company do small Ground Mounted and Roof Top solar projects (10 KW to 5 MW) from concept to commissioning on CAPEX model.
4. What kind of challenges have you faced industry-wise?
Cost and T&D Losses, (Cost increase in Solar panels, Inverters, Copper, Cables, and services), need for a better financial infrastructure, training and development, the need for focused, collaborative and goals driven R&D to help India attain technology leadership in PV.
5. Being in the green energy business, how important do you think sustainability is? How are you contributing to a sustainable future through your company?

6. What would be your advice to the budding entrepreneurs who aspire to venture into the green energy business?
From my side, I advise few points like find good people, face your fears, manage energy not time, take the risk, and believe in yourself, plan for raising capital, know your goal, learn from your mistakes, deliver more than expected, know your customer, etc.
7. Where do you envision yourself and your company to be in the long run and what are your future goals?
In the next 5 years, I see my company as an established EPC player in solar Business (Roof top and ground mounted) and My future goal is to help poor and needy people, do CSR activities and generate more and more opportunities of EPC business.
8. What is the current scenario of the green energy space pertaining to India?
The Government of India is aiming to achieve 227 KW of Renewable Energy Capacity by 2022, which is much ahead of its target 175 GW as per the Paris agreement.
India was ranked fifth in wind power, fifth in Solar Power and fourth in Renewable power installed capacity as on 2019.The Government plans to establish renewable sector energy capacity of 523 GW including 72 GW from Hydro sector by 2031.
In India Roof top solar potential is around 124 GW and so far, 1.7 GW is installed in a short span against target of 40 GW by 2022.
