Oracle has opened a second data center in Hyderabad, quickly growing throughout the country since the first such data center was announced within Mumbai last year. It is part of Oracle’s strategy to run 36 second generation cloud regions before the end of this year in nations such as the United States, Canada, Australia, and Japan.
This launch will give businesses in India access to all Oracle Cloud services, including the Autonomous Database, Oracle Autonomous Linux, and Oracle Cloud apps, which will enable business growth and innovation. Oracle said that its second-generation cloud would provide Indian business clients better efficiency, pricing, and safety.
The center is aimed at fulfilling the increasing demand for safe cloud resources from current and new customers. The two data centers plan to offer enterprise continuity and disaster recovery services to more than 15,000 customers.
Oracle recently announced the opening of Oracle Cloud for Melbourne (Australia), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Osaka (Japan), Amsterdam (Netherlands), and Chuncheon (South Korea), in addition to Hyderabad Cloud Region.
Oracle opened 20 Cloud regions in the past year and currently operates 24 regions globally – 16 commercial and six government.
