Taking the opportunity of booming Indian smartphone market, Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is planning to establish an industrial park in Greater Noida which will house an all-in-one manufacturing unit.
Previously Oppo has established its manufacturing operations in Noida. Projecting confidence on the company’s positioning in the Indian market on the strength of products like the series of Selfie Expert smartphones, Oppo is looking forward to enhance user experience for gaining positive market share.
With the ongoing technology shift to mobile broadband services, the number of 3G/4G mobile broadband connection users is forecast to reach more than 670 million by 2020.
Oppo anticipates that the operations in the proposed industrial park to commence within next 2 to 3 years. In India, Oppo already has their marketing centre, manufacturing centre and also a testing facility. They also intend to recruit the full fledged local software team and a mobile internet development team in near the future.
