India is witnessing exponential growth in the dental care industry. Recent studies and data show that the dental market in India is expected to grow at an unprecedented rate of 20-30% per year. Today, people are more aware of the importance of maintaining oral hygiene and keeping their teeth intact. So, there is less hesitation in visiting the dental clinic.

‘Smile’ is the new confidence, and the future of dentistry lies in digital smile designing. Social media has nowadays created a huge impact on people’s mindsets. People are becoming more conscious about their teeth and want to get a beautiful smile. Thanks to these new technologies, due to which anybody can get a beautiful smile at any age.

Dentists who are keen to grow will have to revolve their practices around new ideas and technology. Navneesh Dental Clinic thrives to furnish these state-of-the-art technologies to the common man, those who cannot afford these highly expensive dental treatments.

Currently, their practice is revolving around microscopic dentistry, lasers, and digital dentistry. In the coming future, Navneesh Dental Clinic aims to expand its setups so that it can deliver these services to more people and create beautiful smiles.

Redefining Success with Hard Work

When asked about his successful career, Dr Navneesh shared his thoughts – “Honestly for me, the success is a by-product of the smart and hard work with the vision of solving problems of general people. So, I chose to be a dentist for solving the problems arising from dental diseases.”

Dr Navneesh believes that the definition of success changes at every stage of life. A couple of years ago, he just planned to introduce digital dentistry and laser dentistry. And in spite of all the hardships of the COVID-19 pandemic, the team was able to introduce high-end technologies which are benefiting a lot to their patients currently. So, the vision he had a few years ago, is accomplished now.

Now, the team is looking to expand dental care by opening new branches every year that will be equipped with the latest technologies and treatments. So now for the team, the definition of success is in achieving this goal. Apart from this, Dr Navneesh thinks that physical, mental, and social well-being is equally important, without which success is incomplete.

Overcoming the Adversities

The COVID-19 pandemic has posed the most difficult challenge to the world. Navneesh Dental Clinic also faced difficulties during the pandemic. In their war against the pandemic, they utilized a state-of-the-art defence system. They upgraded existing safety protocols and introduced new methods to eliminate the chances of infection.

Since lots of aerosols are generated during treatments, the team had imported extraoral suction to control the aerosols during treatment. They also used air purifiers with medical-grade HEPA filters to clean the air. This helped to decrease the viral load in the air.

Apart from this, Ultra-violet chambers were purchased to quickly disinfect instruments. Also, UVC lights were introduced for the sterilization of air. Regarding the safety of staff and patients, new protective gears such as PPE kits, N-95 masks, face shields were used. Fumigation was done on regular basis.

The silver lining of the pandemic, however, was the rapid growth of telemedicine which eliminated physical contacts and provided necessary insights into the health. Doctors were able to deliver health advice, patient care services, and follow-ups by means of telemedicine.

Navneesh Dental Clinic served more than 2000 dental emergency procedures during the pandemic where telemedicine or any other remedies didn’t work. Especially, it played a vital role for pregnant women and old people.

Envisaging a Better Future

Due to the advanced medical facilities, there is an increase in the life span of people in India. Now people are aware of the fact that there is a connection between dental health and the whole body. Hence, they want to retain their teeth as long as possible with the help of modern therapies such as root canal treatment or gum surgeries. People want their smiles to be corrected due to which they are visiting dentists more often than ever. So, to cater for their need, there has to be a rational approach.

As of now, Navneesh Dental Clinic has five dental centres in Delhi, and its network will expand soon. Dr Navneesh said, “We intend to be the largest dental chain in the country in coming years which will treat the patients with the highest standards of treatment modalities available in the world.”

To achieve this goal, the process has been started already. The team is providing training for doctors concerning the current and futuristic treatment approach. Once they are trained, they will be looking after the upcoming dental centres.
