Microsoft Cloud Services Acquire Government Accreditation

Microsoft is one of the first global cloud service providers to achieve MeitYs provisional accreditation to deliver its Cloud solutions to government agencies and departments, has announced by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
The accreditation will empower government agencies and departments in India to choose Microsoft Cloud advancing their digital transformation and to optimize IT operations and transform societies, said the company in a statement.
Microsoft gave the statement, “Microsoft Cloud provides industry-leading levels of security, privacy controls, compliance, and transparency for Indian government agencies to achieve higher efficiencies, with greater reliability and scalability.”
Microsoft will be helping the Indian government in its journey of providing financial inclusion opportunities, transformational e-governance services, quality healthcare and education to people in the India with this accreditation.
MeitY is the governing body that provides guidelines to all the government funded and controlled organizations, public sector organizations, state and local bodies and state-owned enterprises in India.
