MG Motor

The manufacturer announced in a statement on June 2 that MG Motor India and Castrol India will work with Jio-bp to investigate mobility solutions for electric vehicles.

According to the release, Jio-bp, MG Motor, and Castrol will look at establishing a four-wheeler EV charging infrastructure and expanding Castrol’s current auto service network to accommodate EV clients.

According to the company, this agreement is in accordance with Jio-bp and MG Motor’s aim to provide electric car consumers with a vast and reliable charging infrastructure while also advancing EV adoption in India.

Jio-bp, a joint venture between Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) and BP, is building an ecosystem that will benefit all-electric vehicle value chain stakeholders. Customers can use the Jio-bp pulse mobile app to identify local charging stations and smoothly charge their electric vehicles.

“By establishing a robust EV charging and service infrastructure in the country, the strategic alliance aims to create EV-friendly roadways for inter-city and intra-city travel,” according to the statement.
