Metals and Mining Company Vedanta to Announce its 4th Interim dividend for FY25

Indian MNC in mining Vedanta Ltd is expected to post the fourth interim dividend of 2024025 today, 9th October 2024.

Earlier the meeting of Board of directors was scheduled on Tuesday 8th October for considering and approving the fourth interim dividend on its equity shares for FY25. However the company sources revealed that the board meeting has been postponed for Wednesday 9th October 2024.

In the view of facilitation of the dividend, 16th October has been chosen as the declaration of dividend reflecting that the dividend payout to the shareholders will be made on that date.
Vedanta has conveyed the shareholders of its declaration of dividend.

The company declared its first interim dividend of Rs 11 per share in May 2023 followed by the second of Rs 4 per share in July respectively.

The shares of Vedanta closed at ₹479.60 on 4th Oct 2024, earning 1.99% and ₹9.35 per share gain for the day on BSE. Dividend History The company has built a robust track record of providing handsome dividends.

Rs 101.4 dividend per share was declared in FY23 while Rs 29.5 per share dividend was declared in FY24 respectively.

This history of surety payments continues to attract investors, such as Vedanta Resources, which holds more than 56% of shares of the company. Against this backdrop, as the Vedanta Board finally takes a call, its track record for dividends continues to be the equity investor’s greatest draw, as it promises returns with stability.
