Well, I have come quiet far in life to be in this successful position. The soul of Lyfizy resides with our team. Though I am the founder and creator behind the idea of overseas consultancy, the efforts of our multi-talented, versatile team deserve a special mention.
I chose a totally different path for my entire career. I dropped my regular studies in the 6th standard itself. From studying in religious institutions away from home, I developed my passion and interest in social studies, especially the law. At the time, studies apart from religious matters were not promoted by any of the students studying religious or moral studies. But with I managed to complete my studies till 12th through open schooling and consistent and restless efforts. This was a motivational factor for other fellow junior students. All Muslim institutions started coming up with the same method for their students. This was the first milestone where I realized that guidance is also one of his greatest strengths.
From a middle-class family, I faced a lot of issues with funding for my education. When I started studying at Jamia institution, I was driven to get admission into Aligarh University. Aligarh is in the top 10 universities in India. I started working on holidays to go for coaching to get into the university. I studied with the help of my friends in coaching and successfully gained admission to Aligarh University to fulfill my dream BA and LLB.
After my LLB degree, I wanted to study at a world-recognized university with an international degree. Ultimately leading to studying in one of the top universities in the world was, the Russel Group University, York University, for my LLM. This was an incredible journey, and many were inspired by my journey from the top ten of Indian degrees to the top 500 international degrees. Many young students were able to accomplish their education abroad through my initiatives.
Going to the UK for studies was quite challenging for me. Much misguidance and wrong information were received. A master’s in LLM in Human rights has brought me closer to services. The challenges of studying abroad initially made me start an overseas education consultancy only to help and guide students on the correct path.
Being an experienced leader, share your opinion on how the adaptation of modern technologies like AI and ML is impacting the industry space and how is Lyfizy adapting to the change?
As a rising competitor in education consultants, we are out to provide all the digital services to our students, starting from an Aptitude test for each applicant and to the presentations through PowerPoint. Once entered into our office, the career counsellor evaluates the student. The counsellors understand their academic qualification, marks, previous history, family background, and income.
Then he/she undergoes the aptitude test, which clearly identifies the student’s career and interest in the study. Then a university and a course for the affordable study are determined for the students.
A virtual tour of the campus and a study plan is presented digitally. The registration process is either through online banking or cash. This literally means that a candidate’s virtual presence is only needed for registrations and applications. All the documents can be submitted through scanned copies through WhatsApp or email. This is very helpful for students in different places because their work or studies are not even interrupted.
What initial challenges did you face, and what are the challenges now?
There are many challenges and problems while bringing up a consultancy like Lyfizy. At first, Lyfizy doesn’t aim for a large amount of profit from students; therefore, it’s a service provided to students in a very affordable way. Most consultancies provide profitable services and charge a huge amount for applications and admissions. So, we faced a lot of challenges from the consultancies. Our marketing strategies are different from theirs because we involved truth in all our marketing strategies, like ads, posters, etc.

But you need to remember that the only thing that will keep us going will be our passion for our business. So, passion for our business is very important.
More focus on ideas rather than capital will be good. Capital is an investment towards a company, but creative ideas make them different from other similar companies. Building a great team is very important as we all know teamwork is the greatest strength of a company. A good team can ensure that the company can run smoothly.

To have Lyfizy franchises among five districts in Malabar is our one-year plan and establishing Lyfizy in every district of Kerala is the future for the next four years.
