L&T Lands Offshore Deal with ONGC for Energy Hydrocarbon Vertical

Larsen & Toubro (L&T)  officials announced on Monday that its Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH) vertical has secured a significant order from the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the eighth phase of the Pipeline Replacement Project (PRP VIII Group B) off India’s west coast.

The order involves the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) of 129 kilometers of subsea pipelines and associated modification works across ONGC’s offshore fields on India’s west coast.

Subramanian Sarma, Whole-time Director & President of Energy at L&T, stated, “This order reflects ONGC’s continued confidence in L&T and stems from our track record of successfully delivering complex offshore projects. It further demonstrates L&T’s unwavering commitment to meeting India’s energy requirements.”

Within the Offshore, Onshore EPC, Modular Fabrication, Advanced Value Engineering & Technology (AdVENT), and Offshore Wind Farm Business Groups, LTEH provides both local and foreign clients with integrated design-to-build solutions for the petroleum industry.

According to the sources, a significant order is valued between Rs 1,000 crore and Rs 2,500 crore. Large orders range from Rs 2,500 crore to Rs 5,000 crore, major orders are between Rs 5,000 crore and Rs 7,000 crore, and mega orders exceed Rs 7,000 crore.
