According to a senior business executive, Lamborghini, which reached a total sales milestone of 300 units in India last month, plans to quadruple the figure in the next four years due to strong demand for its vehicles in the nation.
Lamborghini, which began formal operations in India in 2012, now sells a variety of ultra-luxury vehicles, including the famous SUV Urus, with prices beginning at Rs 3.16 crore.
While it took the business a little more than a decade to reach the 300-unit total sales mark, Lamborghini India Head, Sharad Agarwal said the pace of adding the car has risen in recent years.
“Over the previous four years, we’ve added more than 150 vehicles. So, 50% (of the total) has arrived in the last four years,” he revealed this to PTI.
Agarwal went on to say, “If you look over the previous three years, the speed is unmistakably different. We predict that this will continue to rise as time goes on. This will now be significantly quicker.”
