Kolkata Student Shlok Mukherjee’s Doodle Wins Children’s Day Contest

Global tech Giant Google began the Children’s Day celebrations for India as it trumpeted the winners of the Doodle-making competition. Kolkata student Shlok Mukherjee’s doodle captioned as India on the Center-stage, crafted his hopeful vision on India’s scientific progress to have achieved greater milestones in the coming future.

This award-winning doodle will be displayed on the search engine throughout the day of 14th November. The google competition received more than 1,15,000 entries from children of standard 1st to 10th coming from more than 100 different cities in the country.

Google said that “We were deeply touched that the advancement of technology, environment conservation, and renewables, have developed as a common subject matter across many of the Doodles.”

Shlok Mukherjee, is a student of Kolkata-based Delhi Public School, opened his idea behind the award-winning design, saying“In the next 25 years, my India will have scientists develop their own eco-friendly robot for humanity’s betterment. India will have regular intergalactic travels from Earth to space. India will develop more in the field of Yoga and Ayurveda and will get stronger in coming years.”
