Resonating A Transcendental Inspiration
From the beginning of her journey, Jinal’s own inspiration is her ‘Dad, who owns an imitation jewellery business, “And he always wanted me to work with precious stones and metals,” conveys Jinal. This is how after her graduation in B.sc, Jinal enrolled for a 3-year Diploma in Jewellery Designing & Manufacturing Technology from IIGJ, Mumbai.
Then she worked with an export firm Mahendra Brothers and started her own customised jewellery Designing and manufacturing business in Valsad and Vapi town in Gujarat after getting married.
Jinal reveals, “I started with my own individual exhibition. It was my first attempt and, by god’s grace, received an amazing response from the people of Valsad and Vapi.”
Along with this, Jinal has also taught as a Jewellery Designing Faculty at IGI Surat. “I love to design and create things that add on to your beauty; that’s my passion, and I took it ahead as my profession in the form of jewellery,” reflects Jinal.
Exhibiting Your Innermost Magnificence
When asked what professional qualities and values in her are admired the most by her clients, Jinal says that her best quality is her Designs. She adds, “I design as per clients’ choice in my style. I respect clients’ personal choices by being aware of their likes and dislikes and then designing accordingly, which means that for every client, I design personally. And this personal approach is what gives them comfort with me. My designs are not just ramp walk pieces, but they are wearable and budget friendly. So many things play a role other than just aesthetics.”
Bestowing An Eternal Happiness
Jinal has done many exhibitions in Vapi and Valsad. Individually as well, she has put her stalls in various exhibitions. Her products are purely for exhibitions. She takes orders and then delivers them to clients after the exhibitions. Also, if they want any changes in the design, she provides it to them right there. That’s what is the catch in her designing.
Jinal states, “My designs hold their own uniqueness; they are technically wearable and not just showpiece material and also very pocket friendly for professional ladies who want to flaunt different jewellery in their 9-to-5 jobs.”
Jinal also takes orders for customised jewellery designing and manufacturing as well as she does conceptualized designing for companies.
Bequeathing A Treasure of Wisdom
According to Jinal, when it comes to digital transformation, AI has taken over a lot of work in the industry. A lot of manual designing work has also gone digital. From Designing to marketing, Digital transformation plays a significant role. Jinal further shares that she is also keeping herself updated with the current trends in digital technologies.
Speaking about the challenges she faced and overcame, Jinal says that every day is a new challenge; from design to materials, everything is changing. The scenario has changed from real diamonds to lab-grown diamonds, from 18kt to 14 kt gold. And keeping up with the clients’ requirements is the best way to meet and beat those challenges, which Jinal has been doing for many years now.
Influencing An Ornate Future
Jinal’s only advice to all the budding aspirants who wish to enter the jewellery business is, “Never give up your creativity; this industry always wants more and more of creation.”
And about her envisioning scaling her own venture further, Jinal says that when it comes to offering unique personalized design to more and more clients, her only goal is “Capturing more cities for my exhibitions on a large scale.”
According to Jinal, having a growth mindset and executing your own ideas are the essential qualities that an influential leader should possess. She ends by stating her desire, “If ever I got a chance, I would love to write articles for some magazines related to different jewellery, gemstone, diamonds, etc.”
