Jeuneville: Jean Nouvel Designs New Vertical Neighbourhoods in Paris

Ateliers Jean Nouvel

A new mixed-use development in the Greater Paris area by the acclaimed architect Ateliers Jean Nouvel identifies a complex vertical neighbourhood. The structure – Jeuneville – being located in Gennevilliers Neighbourhood, caters to the latest changes in living, working and leisure. An inspiring place of synergy, Jeuneville aims at creating a sustainable and inspiring living environment for a new generation of city dwellers.

Located within an urban area in transition, opposite the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic village, the project will accommodate a community of 7500 people. The project aims to anticipate the Post-Olympics and become the driving engine for the area’s development, as explained by the Pritzker-winning architect Jean Nouvel.

The vertical neighbourhood is fashioned around two main programming areas: Living spaces in the form of co-living and student accommodation; and workspaces for tech, media and creative businesses. The design will also feature a diverse array of amenities – food venues, retail, sports facilities, and much more.

Ateliers Jean Nouvel is collaborating with Paris-based firm Samuel Nageotte Architectures for the development of this expansive project, which will begin in 2022 and is set to be completed in 2025.
