Union health ministry partnered with Google to level up its nationwide Covid-19 vaccine drive and also to make it easier for beneficiaries to locate the closest vaccination centre.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, on his Twitter handle said, “The Ministry of Health has taken yet another important project to improve access to Covid-19 vaccines, Search ‘Covid vaccines near me’ on Google, and check the accessibility of slots and more, Use ‘Book Appointment’ feature to book a slot.”
On Wednesday, Google said that people will be able to get more information about the vaccine availability and appointments for more than 13,000 locations all over the country.
