So, do you think in this fast-paced world individuals are getting the right amount of nutrients and having the rightful calorie intake?
Not until one has encountered a nutritionist who helps figure out the right meal and aims for robust health, just like Dr Khushboo Sharda, a prominent name in the health and wellness industry. Dr Khushboo is on a mission to provide evidence-based nutrition, a healthy lifestyle, and meal plans according to the body requirement of her clients, through Nutri Diets, of which she is the visionary Founder, Nutritionist, Dietitian and Lifestyle Coach.
Dr Khushboo is spearheading this vision of improving people’s health for the last one-and-a-half decade. It is commonly believed that you are what you eat. It simply means that your well-being is dependent on the food you eat. Unhealthy food will lead to illnesses, while good food will keep you in good health. The term ‘good’ does not mean whatever tastes good. Instead, it means whatever is good for the body. So, even though a burger might taste good, it is junk food and should not become a part of your basic food habits. Your basic good food diet should focus on getting all necessary vitamins, minerals and nutrients into your system so that all the goodness of nature can make you healthy and strong. Dr Khushboo shares, “I always explain the scientific correlation between food and the body to my clients. That way I can help them in the best possible manner.” Dr Khushboo doesn’t only believe in the scientific correlation but is an advocator of nutritional sciences.
She is not in favour of crash diets but rather focuses on providing health and fitness goals in the right way. Most of these plans include healthy eating and exercise which is backed by science and is not a sheer crash diet that is getting widely popular in the market.
On a quest to find India’s 40 under 40 Brightest Business Leaders, we at Insights Success crossed paths with Dr Khushboo. In the following interview, she expresses her journey in the nutritional niche and further emphasizes the future roadmap of Nutri Diets.

Ma’am, please tell us about the saga of Nutri Diets since its inception.
I have seen my mom working since I was born. Just like her, I always wanted to become a working woman. After pursuing M.Sc. in Foods and Nutrition, I started teaching in college. After two years of teaching, I got married, and we had our two little sweethearts. At that point in time, I quit my job to take care of my family, but as I didn’t want to waste my time, so I decided to pursue a PhD. I cleared N.E.T., S.E.T, and PhD in Nutrition along with Keto Educator, Sports Nutritionist and Diabetic Nutritionist Certifications.
By that time, I had put on lots of weight, so I decided to shred it by using my nutritional knowledge and lost 25 kgs in a year. After seeing my transformation, one of my friends insisted on preparing a diet plan for her, and that was my new start. She got very good results in three months, and after that, I started getting many queries regarding weight loss. At that time, I started my own venture, ‘Nutri Diets.’ Till this time, I have already helped more than 3,000 clients in achieving good health.
What was your inspiration behind venturing into the business arena?
There are many fake nutritionists who are giving crash diets for losing weight and misguiding people coming to them. I wanted to help people in achieving their health and fitness goals in the right way using nutritional science.
With that inspiration, we have achieved years of success and experience. Based on it I can assure everyone that our team is capable of analyzing a body and creating a weight loss plan that it is comfortable with. Most plans include healthy eating and exercise, to ensure the best results for our patients. We will work with you to keep you on track and motivated to reach your goals.
What were the initial challenges that you had to surmount to ensure your business’s success rate reached greater heights?
People were looking for quick transformations, and many fake dieticians were giving crash diets to achieve their targets. I was not in favour of crash diets, so many of my clients would often complain that they were losing weight very slowly, and they wanted quick results. But I decided to educate them about the long-term side effects of a crash diet, and slowly, people started adoring my work.
What professional values and qualities do you think your clients value in you and Nutri Diets the most?
I always explain the scientific correlation between food and the body. Similarly, our weight loss specialists work with clients to create a custom program that meets their specific needs and goals. Our experienced team is equipped with the knowledge to provide clients with an understanding of their weight loss plan and answers to all their questions.
All this means honesty, transparency, and telling them the truth rather than playing with their health. At the end of the day, when our clients really lose or gain weight, they understand that we are truly here for them.
What are the U.S.Ps that highlight Nutri Diets’ uniqueness in the industry you are catering to?
We believe in lifestyle modification instead of giving fancy and crash diets. Meal prepping is important for most people due to the fast lifestyles we have. Having healthy delicious meals ready to go can benefit your weight loss plan.
Our experienced team introduces clients to delicious food and shows them ways that they can include their favourite foods into their healthy meal plans. All these are our USPs. Many times, clients come to us and praise us for what we did for them.
As an experienced professional, what would you like to advise the budding aspirants willing to enter the business world?
Never give clinical advice or supplements to clients if you are not qualified for it. Always give balance diets to people to achieve their goals so they won’t face any nutritional deficiencies in the future.
Playing with people’s health is risky. Don’t misguide people if you are not educated enough. Never prescribe medicines to anyone, you can help people in making good food choices don’t try to treat them with medication. Let doctors do their job.
How do you envision Nutri Diets’ operations with the emerging technologies and automated tools that are revolutionizing the business world by enabling innovations?
In the coming future, I would integrate various smart scales and smart plates along with smart tools so that our clients can themselves check and make diets as per their tastes and requirement through the use of mobile apps anywhere, anytime. It will be a revolutionary service. It is like being your own dietician.
