It commenced its journey into the world of textile processing and manufacturing way back in 1944 with the setting up of its Group Company, Rani Sati Cotton Mills.
As a family business, it kept expanding its business operations by setting up its subsidiary company, Divya Global, in 1984, which today is enlightening the global industry. It later ventured into the fabric and bed linen export trade in 1992 with the aim of delivering consistent high-standard quality products.

With his excellent management sense and penchant for new technologies, Divyakumar is a perfect foil to the company’s MD, Mr. Sunil Siraslewala. With an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, he entered the business in 2005 and currently looks after all the marketing activities of the company.
Being an astute leader, he is constantly on the alert for new ideas, projects and processes to optimise productivity and profitability. He is able to understand and respond to market trends and changes quickly and is responsible for several initiatives.
Under his ardent leadership, team Divya ensures superlative quality is maintained throughout from the fabric processing to the finish stage. Its business model is designed to meet the ever-changing clienteles’ requirements for textiles and fabrics on a day-to-day basis.

Divyakumar shares, “We follow stringent quality management systems to live up to our credo of ‘Quality first.’. Our experienced personnel ensure that the products are immaculate and processes are in place at each level of the product manufacturing stage.
We also intend to minimise costs by setting up quality controls right from the weaving stage. After all, customer focus is our prime endeavour. By doing so, we strive to maintain a competitive price structure.”
The comprehensive vertically integrated infrastructure of Divya’s manufacturing plant could be awed at, as it sources grey fabrics at its own high-end fabric plant, stitching factory, and manufacturing plant – Mayank Processors Pvt Ltd. based in Ahmedabad.
It has two stitching factories around Mumbai and one stitching factory in Ahmedabad. These factories specialise in manufacturing products for different markets. These factories can produce 400,000 pieces per month. Finished goods are packed in containers at the factory site and safely delivered to the clients.
Similarly, Divya’s manufacturing plant has a capacity to manufacture over 3 million meters per month. The factory is spread over 150,000 sq. feet of colossal space with ultra-spacious 50,000 square feet warehousing facility.
It has two rotary printing machines, one flat printing machine, several dyeing machines, mercerising and other preparatory machines, jet dyeing, jigger dyeing, and pad batch dyeing. Several specialised finishing Machines include – pre-shrunk, bio-polish, sanforising, Lisa, and raising.
Divyakumar conveys, “Our effluent treatment plant carries out primary and secondary treatments in-house. Our Eco- friendly Production Facility is modelled for sustainable development. Our motto is full customer satisfaction.”

Divya exports fabrics and made-ups all over the world. Its wide array of manufactured products includes bed linen, pillow covers, bed sheets, curtains, table and kitchen linen, and various kinds of apparel fabric.
Divyakumar furthers, “At Divyatex, we have our own design studio which provides complete design solutions for the textile industry. With an experience of over 27 years of handling many national and international projects, we take pride in being one of the most experienced and professional design studios.”
The studio is based in Mumbai. There, the team Divya not only work on design solutions but also offer advice on planning, updates about recent trends, and much more. The team closely co-ordinate the design development program with the client’s trends.
Divyakumar adds, “We have a talented team of Textile designers supported by in house computer facilities and a weaving studio.
