Please tell us about Dentafix, its core values, mission, and vision.
We are a team of talented and passionate dentists. We take utmost care of our patients, with the best of our ability, in a harmonious way. We not only believe in treating the teeth, but we believe in the overall wellbeing of patients.
We believe in the adage ‘oral health is overall health,’ and we treat our patients with that same thought. At Dentafix, our motto is to preserve what’s there in the oral cavity. And to make sure of it, we always do what is best for the patient and help them to maintain their smile.
What are your priorities in terms of service of patients and optimal healthcare?
We believe in saving or preserving what is presented to us in the oral cavity. As saving and preserving is always a difficult task compared to the other methods. But results are always better and more fruitful for the patients and satisfactory for us.
In terms of service to the patients, we believe in providing them with the best treatment possible. Dentistry always involves two factors: aesthetics and function. Many patients visit us for aesthetics or function, but our goal is to provide aesthetics with functions for long-term and permanent satisfaction.
The most important part of successful treatment at any clinic is basic sterilization. At Dentafix, we are very particular about maintaining sterilization before, after, and during the procedures and in-between the patient’s visit. Better services always come with the best material used to treat the patients, with a good renowned lab. That is what we provide.
Please tell our readers about the services offered by your clinic.
We offer all kinds of dental treatment under one roof. We have a team of MDS specialists who work as per the patients’ requirement. All the MDS staff at our clinic have experience of more than ten years each. We do restoration and CT for adults and kids at our clinic, dental implants, and dental fracture reduction. While at our tie-up centres, we provide services ranging from normal removable dentures to implant supported tooth to implant supported denture.
For Oral cancer detection and consultation, we have Dr Priyanka, who looks after the need of patients with doubt of oral cancer or in need of treatment consultation.
For pediatric patients, we have pedodontics on our team who works as per the requirement, on the call basis of the specific treatment needed for the children below the age of six yrs.
Our endodontist is always a helping hand for complicated root canal treatment to do the needful.
For particular disimpaction and fracture of mandible patients, we have a dedicated oral surgeon who looks after the need of such patients.
Dr Aman (Periodontist) is always available for dental implants and gum surgery.
How would you define a successful career? What would you say is your biggest accomplishment?
As per me, success is always a journey that never ends. What may be a success in others’ eyes might be just a beginning in someone else’s thoughts.
Still, if we quantify the journey of Dentafix, we started it in a hospital setup with one chair in a small room of forty-eight square feet. And today, we have two fully furnished and functional double-chair setups, one each in Chandigarh and Panchkula.
Here, we rate our success on a daily basis, based on the satisfaction of our patients. Dentistry is always an evolving field, with innovations and technology coming up daily. At our clinic, to keep ourselves in the line of success, we update ourselves regularly for the benefit and comfort of our patients.
Our biggest accomplishment, which we have desired since we started Dentafix, is that people believe in us to save their teeth. And today, many patients come to us saying the exact same thing, that they are here because they have heard that Dentafix believes in saving their tooths.
Please mention your organisation’s most notable achievements, accolades, accreditations, and awards.
We might not have received awards, but on a personal level, our team members are well-acknowledged and known at the national level. All of them have their own contributions in national and international journals. As well as they have chaired many academic sessions in various conferences and lectured about many dental related topics across India.
COVID-19 has put additional responsibility on the healthcare sector in terms of telehealth trends, hygiene, and safety precautions. How did you have to adapt to these circumstances whilst preparing and safeguarding your patients and staff for the same? What new trends and technologies did you incorporate for ensuring optimal knowledge delivery?
Though COVID-19 came with challenges, at Dentafix, we are following most of the hygiene protocols from the beginning.
Changes we adopted were for our team’s and patient’s benefits. We were doing our jobs wearing PPE kits. All of our dentists, staff, and even front desk personnel were wearing them from day one. And we gave them strict instructions that the appointments would be one at a time. In terms of instruments, we added an air purifier and sanitizer. And sanitisation of the clinic in-between the patients’ visit is still going on.
How do you envision the future of your dental care centre going forward?
Our vision for the future is simple, keep growing with that healthy smile around us all the time. And taking care of the overall health of our patients and not just their dental health.

Dentafix was started back in the year 2013 with the vision of being one of the best dental setups in Tricity. It was founded by Dr Aman Bhatia and Dr Priyanka S Bhatia with the same vision and values.
As we all know, Rome was not built in a day. Likewise, Dentafix was not so fortunate in the beginning. The work, dedication, and passion of Dr Aman and Dr Priyanka took Dentafix to where it is today.
