As a co-working space enabler, there are a few challenges that we face. Sometimes the building/property norms are different from the client’s demands and local body licenses.
What is the current industrial scenario of the co-working spaces in India? Give us an industry overview if possible.
As MNCs occupiers continue to be unsure about long-time office leasing plans in 2021 and 2022 and are still re-calculating their office space needs, they are exploring leasing desks in co-working spaces to avoid long-term funds expenditures, and to get more flexibility on their lease terms.
By 2022 Co-working space stock is likely to account for 4-6% of the total office portfolio, led by demand for well-located, high quality and well-organized flexible workspaces.

How has the ongoing pandemic affected the operations of your co-working space?
This has affected hardly the pure business profit of two months (1/6 part of yearly profit), 20% clients paid nothing, 30% clients paid 50%, 20% clients paid 75% and rest 30% clients paid 100% charges during this pandemic also.
What would be your strategic approach to scale your business in 2021 and beyond?
We are trying to focus a number of advertising agencies (online) and few publicity portals also.
What would be your advice to the budding entrepreneurs who aspire to venture into the business of co-working spaces and services?
It is a no risk business, as other businesses need patience, it also needs you to invest your time as well as with your money.
Where do you envision yourself and your company to be in the long run and what are your future goals?
The team at Aarna Co-Working & Business Hub is planning to set up co-working places in NCR, Mumbai and Indore and will soon be there to cater all your needs.
How are Co-working Spaces revolutionizing the global corporate world today?Â
For Aarna it took the first three-four months to build and create the office space in the traditional business style and office. In the fifth-sixth month, the business started. In a co-working space, you can focus on your business from the very first day because the team at Aarna is always there to focus on the other office services and issues for you and your work comfort.
It is also helping the corporate sector to save a huge amount of money, as they were in practice of investing in office space and while vacating the same space, it was usually sold for less than 5% amount.
