Automation is integrated into our processes, streamlining workflows and minimizing human error using RFID based tracking technology (CRAWL™), improving reliability and consistency.

Online Proof of Deliveries (PODs) provides customers instant access to shipment status and documentation, improving transparency and customer satisfaction.

Our advanced warehouse management system (SWIM) utilizes SaaS technology to optimize inventory storage, picking, and shipping processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the warehouse. Moreover, our investment in emerging technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), OT/IT, Sailor, Aquarium, CRAWL, Puugle, Infinity, Wision enables us to leverage data for predictive maintenance and supply chain optimization.

AWL has likely faced its share of challenges as a leader on India’s industrial horizon. Could you share an instance where your team’s resilience and ingenuity triumphed over adversity?

One remarkable instance where our team’s resilience and ingenuity triumphed over adversity was during the implementation of RFID technology for a prominent apparel client in India. This project marked the first-ever end-to-end implementation of RFID in the country, presenting unique challenges and opportunities.

Initially, due to RFID technology’s novelty and perceived complexity, we encountered skepticism and resistance from stakeholders. However, our team remained undeterred, leveraging their expertise and creativity to overcome obstacles and drive successful implementation.

We meticulously planned and executed each phase of the project, from system design and hardware installation to process integration and employee training. Our commitment to excellence and attention to detail ensured a smooth transition and minimal disruption to the client’s operations.

Despite facing unforeseen technical glitches and logistical hurdles, our team remained resilient and adaptable, implementing innovative solutions and workarounds to keep the project on track. Through collaboration and perseverance, we successfully integrated RFID with PTL automation, utilizing RFID Handheld Terminals, tunnels, and sensors to optimize inventory tracking and management.

Furthermore, we deployed RFID technology at stores, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes. As the client plans to open over 250 stores within 14 months, we are prepared to scale up our RFID infrastructure to accommodate increased volumes and maintain operational efficiency.

Today, the RFID system caters to over 80 stores, processing more than 100,000 pieces of apparel daily with remarkable accuracy and speed. This achievement demonstrates our team’s ability to overcome challenges and showcases our commitment to driving innovation and delivering tangible results for our clients.

Looking to the future, what is your vision for AWL? How do you aspire to continue making a significant impact on India’s corporate landscape?

As we look to the future, our vision for AWL India Private Limited is to lead the way in Digital Logistics, offering tech-powered logistics services that redefine industry standards and set new benchmarks for excellence.
