Automation Anywhere is one of the leading global players in the field of robotic process automation, or RPA. Now, the company has announced that around 50% of its employees are based in India. According to its co-founder and COO Ankur Kothari, out of its 1,600 global employees, 760 are based in India.Â
India forms one of the critical bases of company activities. Its development centers and engineering teams are located in both the United States and India. Among its clients in India are some of the big companies, including Adani Shared Services, Airtel, PwC, Indian Oil Corporation, Tata Sky, Accenture, and AWS.Â
Kothari also said that India is a multidimensional market for Automation Anywhere, given that the company caters to Indian corporate clients, global capability centers (GCCs), and large system integrators. This Indian corporate market is smaller than the US and Japan but is growing and is an important part of their strategy. He elaborates that for most clients, work takes place in India, and though the revenue is recognized in the US, that mirrors the significance of India as a key market where, in recent years, corporate and operational activities have become centered.Â
In terms of the future, Kothari is particularly optimistic about the role of AI in transforming industries on the global scale. In fact, he said while automation has already set a platform for businesses worldwide, AI is now taking things to a whole new level. According to him, this blend of automation and AI is a game-changer for enterprises, and one would find that it elevates efficiency, improves customer as well as employee experience, and enhances the top line of the company.Â
Kothari also highlighted the deep impact that AI will have on business models globally, noting that the integration of AI in automation provides unique opportunities to transform operations across sectors. He concluded by emphasizing the importance of harnessing AI in a secure manner to maximize its potential and transform the future of work. This, according to Kothari, will yield critical efficiencies and cost benefits for business worldwide, thus enabling businesses around the world to thrive in such an increasingly digital world.Â
