Born in a small village, Nagaralu, located in Kadur Taluk of Chikkamagalore district in Karnataka, Shantha is a hard-working and self-driven woman having the courage to face and accept the challenges either in her personal or professional life, having very much passionate about her work, creative, communicative, flexible and reliable personality. 

She keeps herself constantly updated on statute laws and amendments, which is essential for her profession. Having worked in various roles with varying sizes and levels of complexity throughout her career in multiple industries, she has gained a wealth of knowledge about human resources and other subjects. She considers learning to be an ongoing process. She is constantly looking for new ways to develop and grow in her role. The opportunities could be training, a conference, listening to a speaker, or taking on a new project, but the motivation is to expand her knowledge in the field.

She is a mature, honest young lady who has and values integrity. People come to her for answers to questions because of her confidence in herself and her personality, even if she is not in a leadership position. Even if she cannot provide an answer, she can point someone in the right direction.

Her passion is learning about life through travel and new experiences. It excites her to visit new places, learn about different cultures, and see how other people live. Her motto is ‘Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that count.’

Presently, Shantha is an Assistant Manager – HR at Sandhar Han Shin Auto Technologies Private Limited, handling the entire HR generalist role. 

Her experience as an intern covers various areas in HR, but her primary responsibility is focused on the generalist role. She utilizes her time to the maximum extent of expanding her skills at different employment levels. Since day one of her professional careers, Shantha has felt a greater sense of happiness and passion in her work. Dealing with and reading people for their true intention comes naturally to her. It enables her to step comfortably into new responsibilities. 

She’s exposed to a variety of team dynamics and positivity. Her love for connecting with people has been a major factor in her professional success. Working as HR Professional for over six years, Shantha developed positive skills to work effectively with others. And also learned how to build trust with people. She believes this is the key to any successful relationship, personal or professional.

She says women’s empowerment is vital in today’s era and in all fields. Being a woman, she is honoured and pleased to receive this special award. She thanks everyone for making the event a success. This award gives her more confidence to explore her full potential. It makes her feel proud, happy, overwhelmed and delighted. She feels emotional and believes it is the best thing that has ever happened to her. She is looking forward to many more milestones in her career.
