Retaining the Mental Health

Psychiatry diseases and problems are quite challenging to treat rather than physical illnesses. Though many advanced tools can diagnose psychiatric issues, there is no specific parameter to ensure that you are going through some psychological problem. From anxiety to depression, psychological problems come silently from the hidden door. Only observation and analysis can reveal that your regular stress and tension are becoming a psychological disease. Whatever is your age, Dr Trupti ensures that her team provides counselling services for all psychiatry problems.

At Psychwellness, Dr Trupti and her team’s experience let them recognise the problems patients are undergoing. Women and adults’ psychiatry problems are particular targets of the Psychwellness team’s service panel.

Dr Trupti says that their main aim is to provide peaceful life by treating stress and anxiety with the help of counselling. Apart from common problems, the Psychwellness team also deals with severe mental problems and addiction in their counselling.

The various counselling therapies available at Psychwellness are,

  • Cognitive behaviour therapy
  • Interpersonal therapy
  • Couple counselling
  • Exposure and response prevention
  • Rational emotive behaviour therapy
  • Child and adolescents’ therapy
  • Family therapy

Regaining the Mental Wealth

Psychwellness Clinic’s services empower the patient and family by providing various treatment options available and choosing the best alternative by having a detailed discussion, explaining the pros and the cons.

The many services include,

  • Child and adolescent psychiatry – is a conceptual study for diagnosing the signs and symptoms of mental disorders in children. Lots of researchers have introduced different methods of knowing children’s minds. Adolescence means the period intervening in the transition from childhood to adulthood. During this period, behavioural issues and mood changes are common.

The behavioural issues include ADHD, mental tantrums, school refusal, eating disorders, behavioural problems in mentally disabled and autistic children, and separation anxiety disorder.

  • Adult psychiatry – Every age is vulnerable to some psychiatric problems. Still, the adult age considering 18 to 65 is the most vulnerable time when one can be a victim of different psychic issues. The reason may vary from person to person, which holds true for treating. Most psychiatric conditions are treatable if managed at the right time, but most people wait for the crisis to happen before they visit a mental health professional. Visit the experienced psychiatrist to get the lesser drugs and get treated with love, care, and some medications.

Mental illness directly impacts the physical health and functioning of the person, so taking timely help can help improve the individual’s functioning and improve the long-term prognosis.

  • Women mental health – Women’s mental health is a prominent topic for a healthy family. According to research, women are more prone to mental illness than men. Some mental disorders like depression anxiety are more vulnerable and common in women. Women experience different symptoms that are only recognisable after specific observations only. Most women face mental illness due to a lack of caring for own selves and less consideration of others, but other factors too may be causative.
  • Old age psychiatry – older adults are most likely to get exposed to solitude and detached from society. There are many reasons for the same; the death of spouses, ill-treatment from family members are few among the causes. As a result, their physical health, as well as emotional well-being declines. The increment in the old age depression cases reporting proves it perfectly. With a social anxiety disorder, some people find it difficult to reach out for help. It has been only a few years, old age psychiatry as a speciality is gaining attention.

An old age psychiatrist aims to ensure that proper care given to older adults with mental illnesses like dementia, etc., is the leading and most prevalent in these people.

  • Counselling services – At Psychwellness, Dr Trupti and her team’s experience recognises the problems of the patient’s regular sadness. If patients feel irritated about small things or feel lonely, it means they might have some psychiatric problems. But they should not worry. Dr Trupti and her team can help them in these situations. At Psychwellness, counselling is very effective and ensures results.
