Mr. Sachin Khandelwal completed his post-graduation in management (MBA) in the year 2001 and done specialization in IPR and Digital Marketing.

He has worked with multinational and Indian Organizations SBU like Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Reliance, and Zylog as Profit Center Head/ Functional Head with overall management and accountability of SBU’s.

Sachin has more than 22 years of experience in areas of strategy consulting, cross border collaborations, and general management in various industries, which includes life sciences, IT, ITeS, telecom, industrial, paper and packaging, and consumer goods.

He became the first-generation entrepreneur in 2013 and incorporated his own company by the name of SpiderLink Networks.

The key skill set Sachin holds include a combination of business advisory, strategy consulting, implementation, and transaction processes to ensure successful startup operations in India. Channel sales, key account management, direct team management, budgeting and planning, strong analytic and leadership are his foremost skills.

An Idealistic Approach

Working with telecom in mobility, the team of SpiderLink Networks realized that a shift is happening from voice to data in 2011 and being visionary, they could imagine the market potential vs offerings available. Since the availability of broadband was primarily with 1-2 operators only, which was on copper wire. So, scope was infinite looking at the fixed broadband penetration, which is even 7.5% as on date.

The team’s previous experience of working in great companies has taught them so much that they could make the offerings differently in the market and make SpiderLink stand out as a different player.

A Battle with COVID-19 Pandemic

Since the pandemic has made a complete shift from work from office to work from home, people who used to consume some 100 GB data per month started consuming 5-10 times of it. SpiderLink’s servers and networks were over utilized like other Telecom companies and upgrade was a big challenge as they had limited availability of equipment.

Once operations started in phased manner after first lock down, the company completely focused on increasing the capacity of network by 50 times to offer QoS to its customers.

Safety was a major concern for SpiderLink Networks’ team as well for customers as many of its team members were going for installation and maintenance. So, the company started COVID-19 Support Line for its team members, where HR used to take daily health record of team members, share COVID-19 safety guidelines in regional language, ensuring every tech person having sanitizer, mask, and PPE kits.

The company appointed a doctor for checking the first level of symptoms. Medical leaves were granted, advanced payments were made, and complete health management was done for the employees.
