According to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Atishi Marlena, Delhi has only one day of COVID-19 vaccine Covaxin sock left for beneficiaries aged 45 and up, while Covishield stock will last for five days for the same group of people.

Covaxin has not been distributed to beneficiaries in the 18-44 age group for five days, according to Marlena, and the stock of Covishield reserved for the 18-44 age group has been left for six days.

“Delhi has 2,91,780 COVID-19 vaccine doses in its balance stock reserved for the age group 18-44 years,” the AAP MLA said. “Of these, 4,550 doses are of COVAXIN and 2,87,230 doses are of Covishield.”

There are 3,25,480 doses remaining in the COVID vaccine supply reserved for people over 45 years old, frontline staff, and healthcare workers. There are 76,350 doses of Covaxin and 2,49,130 doses of Covishield left in the balance warehouse.

In the last 24 hours, 1,18,043 vaccine doses were administered, according to the AAP MLA. The total number of COVID-19 vaccine doses given out is 44,90,791.

According to the Delhi government’s health bulletin, the national capital’s positivity rate has dropped even further, with 6,456 new COVID-19 cases registered in the last 24 hours.

The total number of cases in the city is 13,93,867, with 62,783 active cases.
