OnePlus 8 Series’ Indian Prices Revealed

A few days after OnePlus released the OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 Pro and unveiled its global pricing, the smartphone maker has now confirmed its Indian pricing.

For the 6 GB + 128 GB variant, One Plus 8 starts at Rs 41,999, for the 8 GB + 128 GB, Rs 44,999 and for the 12 GB + 256 GB, Rs 49,999. The OnePlus 8 Pro, which is priced at Rs 54,999 and Rs 59,999 respectively, has the same RAM and storage configurations.

Currently, no date has been stated for the deliveries of smartphones. However, more details will come to light when eCommerce platforms start operating entirely. The base version will be sold exclusively on Amazon India, while the two other variants will be available on all online and offline channels.

OnePlus also announced the OnePlus Bullets Z price in India. The OnePlus Bullets Z earphones will be available for Rs 1,999 in India.

To recall specs, the new 7nm octa-core Snapdragon 865 clocked at 2.84GHz, paired with an Adreno 650 GPU, is the core of both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. It also supports 5G networking with the X55 modem. You get up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB of fast UFS 3.0 storage. The two smartphones run out of the box with OxygenOS based on Android 10.

With its 3168 x 1440 resolution, OnePlus 8 Pro displays a 6.78 Quad HD + Fluid AMOLED 19.8:9 screen. The refresh rate is up to 120Hz on the OnePlus 8 Pro. The display comes with the MEMC technology that helps to monitor motion blur.

The OnePlus 8, on the other hand, comes with a Full HD+ 20:9, 6.55 inches screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080p with the screen refresh rate set to 90Hz. Both devices support HRD10 + contents and are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

The OnePlus 8 Pro sports a quad rear camera set up with a 48 MP Sony IMX689 main lens with f/1.78, OIS, and EIS along with an extra 48 MP Sony IMX 586 120-degree f/2.2, followed by an 8 MP telephoto lens with f/2.44, a 3x optical zoom, a 30x video zoom, and a 5 MP color filter sensor.

The OnePlus 8 includes a triple rear camera system. A 48 MP f/1.8, Sony IMX586 main sensor with OIS and EIS, accompanied by a 16 MP f/2.2, an ultra-wide 119-degree lens, and a 2 MP f/2.4 macro camera.

Both smartphones include a 16 MP punch-hole selfie camera, which is a Sony IMX471 sensor with f/2.45 aperture.

OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro carries 4510 mAh and 4300 mAh batteries, respectively. Although all phones offer 30W Super Charge 30 T wired wireless charging, OnePlus 8 Pro offers 30W Fast Charging and 5W Wireless Reverse Charging.
