IS: What unique facilities and services are provided by your organization that differentiates you from your counterparts?
We don’t have night shifts for female employees and we treat female and male employees equally if we talk about their pay structures. We give work from home facility to employees. We prioritize our tenure employees. Mothers in the organization have smaller shifts as compared to other employees. There is policy for maternity leaves with re-joining options.

IS: How do you overcome challenges?
Every organization has to face various challenges in its journey from the setting up to growing. Now customers have more options than ever. With more deals, agencies and service offerings, shopping for travel services has become about cutting through the noise rather than discovering something authentic. Modern travellers are independent and savvy who understand the market and are very difficult to tackle. Loyalty of customers is also decreasing and they easily get influenced with offers. Keeping the customers happier and satisfied is risky and you always have to work on thin margins. Most of our customers are repeated customers and we charge no convenience fee to make them repeat bookings from our website.
IS: How do you envision the outreach of the firm globally in terms of growth and future expansion?
Among our future expansion plans, we are planning to open branch offices in tier 2 and tier 3 cities of India and we also want to establish ourselves in various foreign locations through subsidiary offices. We also have plans to open EMT Holiday Hubs in all major cities for increasing revenues from Non-Air Products, including hotels, bus, holiday packages and car rentals. After recently opening our subsidiary branch in London, we would love to set up branches in other key cities of the world. Very soon we are going to launch our multi-lingual website to target non-English speaking customers.
IS: What is your advice to the budding and emerging entrepreneurs?
All budding entrepreneurs should embrace every challenge as a learning opportunity. By taking small steps, you will reach your goals faster as compared to when you take big leaps. You face certain hurdles in your life, there may be challenges but your hard work and vision will always work and will never let bring you down. Make a conscious choice to maintain a positive attitude and not allowing negative thoughts to creep in. You can keep a positive viewpoint despite the biggest challenges while calculating risks coming along the way. This will make your chance to succeed more.

Mr. Rikant Pitti is the COO, Co-founder, and Whole-Time Director of EaseMyTrip is among the youngest entrepreneurs of India who has all the qualities of a natural industrialist. He made EaseMyTrip a big brand with his systematic information about every vertical of travel industry and its integration with E-commerce. With his creative ideas and reviving approach, the company has reached to this position so far.
He believes that through executing innovative ideas and employing the best resources, his company can reach to the peak of success. Along with being a tech wizard, Rikant also manages marketing and customer-support at EaseMyTrip. He loves to travel and always remains abreast with technology. Recently, he received ‘COO of the Year’ award by Global Iconic Awards.
Mr. Prashant Pitti is the Advisor and Whole-Time Director of EaseMyTrip, is an experienced industrialist who has worked in different industries to increase his vision and experiences. Having a brilliant aptitude for various commerce sectors, he is identified for his excellent marketing skills and creative ideas.
Mr. Prashant is a B.Tech from IIT Madras and being an IITIAN, he has all the key expertise of identifying the requirements of the market & clients. With his work experience of 3 years in US, he has contributed as an assistant vice president in Risk Department of HSBC, Chicago. Under his surveillance, EaseMyTrip.com has created a position for itself. He is also the founder of the start-up called NearGroup.
