Infrastructure main Larsen & Toubro (L&T) today supposed its construction arm has won orders worth Rs 2,170 crore across numerous business segments including a Rs 1,169 crore agreement in Oman.
“The construction support of L&T has earned orders worth Rs 2,170 crore through its various business segments,” L&T claimed. It assumed its Power Transmission & Distribution Business has secured orders worth Rs 1,169 crore.
Consolidating its position in the substation segment of maximum voltage level in Oman, the corporate has secured a directive from Oman Electricity Transmission Company SAOC for turnkey construction of the 400/132 kV Qabel Grid Station and related works.
The business has protected two more orders from presumed customers for design, construction, supply and ordering of five 132 kV substations in UAE.
On the domestic front, the business has gained a contract from West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd for consolidation the sub-transmission & distribution network in the city area of Nadia district, West Bengal, under the United Power Development Scheme. It believed its Water & Effluent Treatment Business has gained an order worth Rs 360 crore.
An engineering, construction and procurement order have been shot from Rajasthan Urban Drinking Water Sewerage and Infrastructure Corporation Limited, Government of Rajasthan, under AMRUT for the performance of a sewerage project with treatment facilities feast across three towns, namely Bharatpur, Gangapur and Hindaun.
The scope comprises constructing 354 km of sewerage network, given that more than 40,000 house connections and edifice eight sewage treatment plants of total capacity 24.75 million litres per day (MLD) by Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) Technology.
Also, it said about Building & Factories, Business has protected an order worth Rs 320 crore to idea commercial and residential towers in Mumbai. The possibility of works includes civil shell and core, and concluding work.
In addition, the business has protected additional orders worth Rs 321 cr. from the existing clients across numerous business segments. Larsen & Toubro are an Indian multinational involved in technology, engineering, construction, financial services and manufacturing with USD 16 billion in revenue.
