WeSecureApp started off providing vanilla services that include VAPT. But now it has moved up the value chain and offers premium services – DevSecOps, Red Team Assessment, CAINS etc.
The biggest breakthrough came when WeSecureApp launched its Vulnerability Correlation & Security Orchestration Platform, STROBES that bridges the gap between internal and external stakeholders in a security engagement. Various automated security tools can be integrated with Strobes that automize the process of detecting, prioritizing, reporting and mitigating security bugs. Strobes enable the management to have visibility over the security health index of their digital assets and also provides meaningful insights. It is an innovative solution to the burning problem of vulnerability management. Its correlation module uses AI to prioritize the vulnerabilities based on exploitation.

Venu Rao, Founder & CEO: His dual degree of Engineering and MBA enable him to understand the client’s problems, work on possible solutions and then implement the best possible one. The result is a solution which is convenient, affordable and solves the right problem for the client. Additionally, a decade of experience in Sales, Marketing, and Operations, in Technology & Product Development space gives him a clear understanding of the IT industry and make him smart enough to design solutions for future problems.
Akhil Renikunta, Founder & CTO: A whiz-kid who ventured into hacking at the age of 14. Acknowledged and rewarded by the top internet giants like Facebook, Twitter, Shopify, Google etc. He is a multi-talented personality who can design, code, hack and solve customer problems. He has been instrumental in developing the flagship product Strobes.
Srini Dhara, Founder & COO: He has done his masters in the UK and been in the USA for 15 years working for Fortune 500 companies. He worked across cross-cultural teams, delivered world-class products and handled operations smoothly.
Two Directors, Eshwar and Anurag stood with the founders from the inception day till date and helped the company to sail through the tough times. They carry amazing expertise in handling customers, delivery apart inducing world class process in the startup culture.
Together they have built WeSecureApp from scratch with the help and trust of amazing partners and smart employees.

On a mission to conquer cybersecurity challenges, what keeps the company going is its key attribute of Solving the Right Problem. Venu adds, “There are many services & solutions in the market. But understanding the pain areas of the customers and giving the best solution is the key attribute. Considering different parameters of Compliance, Industry Framework, Cybersecurity challenges and budget, we design the cybersecurity roadmap for our customers.”
WESECUREAPP had the opportunity to work with startups to large enterprises. Every company is unique has its cybersecurity requirements too. It has helped a lot of Startups and SMB’s on cybersecurity policies, creating a road-map for them and partnering with them to get their compliances. For large companies, apart from performing regular assessments, its closely works with its development team, apprises them with latest hacks and trains them on best coding practices.
It was recently recognized as ‘One of the Most Promising Product’ at NASSCOM Product Conclave, 2019 and won a prestigious Best Product Startup – APAC & Japan by RSAC Launchpad competition.

An experience to Learn From
To the entrepreneurs who are looking up to this field, Venu suggests, “My experience says, staying focus is the key to success. In an entrepreneurial journey, one comes across multiple business opportunities but if you start accepting these then it will dilute the business. The second important point is sales, one may have an amazing product but if he/she doesn’t know how to market it then it’s a big problem. Have a good sales team in place, design a sales & marketing strategy and be flexible.”
Expanding Horizons
Now that WeSecureApp has launched its product and gained recognition, it is looking at exponential growth. It is now focusing on identifying channel partners and system integrators in MENA, APAC and European market, and setting-up profit centres in SFO and New Jersey in the USA. From the product perspective, it would definitely enhance the product and work on a couple of new products that complement its current offerings.
