Reliance Jio, India’s largest telecom provider, spent the least at the 2024 spectrum auction. The telco said that it had obtained spectrum in the 1800 MHz band in two circles: Bihar and West Bengal. The telco uses the 1800 MHz frequency to deliver 4G services. Following the auction, Reliance Jio’s spectrum footprint expanded to 26,801 MHz (uplink + downlink).
