Vodafone and Google come in collaboration to suite your enterprising needs

Google cloud and Vodafone has tied up to come up with a tailor made solution for all the corporate needs in pay-per-use, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.
Vodafone Business Services (VBS), the enterprise arm of Vodafone India, has tied up with Google Cloud to offer the Gsuite. G suite is a set of intelligent productivity, communication and collaboration applications on a pay as you go model. The suite includes apps like Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar and Hangouts.
The corporate customers are offered a choice of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annual payments which can be made online or by cheque. The service also includes multi-channel support for onboarding, migration and in-life queries. Enterprises will get dedicated account and relationship management support. With VBS ‘work standard’ plan of Rs 150 per month, customers will get business class email, HD video conferencing, cloud storage and Google’s productivity apps.
Under the ‘work unlimited’ plan of Rs 650, customers will get all the feature apps for work with unlimited cloud storage and backup, compliance, discovery, policy management and other admin features.
This new venture comes after a partnership with technology major Microsoft for enterprise-grade productivity and collaboration services. With this, Vodafone is widely acknowledged as an enterprise mobility leader. With the cloud delivery model, they are well positioned as a total communications partner to Indian enterprises embarking on their digital journeys.
Vodafone Business Services, provides telecommunications solutions across both mobility and fixed line platforms. The enterprise arm is expanding towards Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and investing in Cloud infrastructure. They are also actively involved with Public Sector Enterprioses and State Governments contributing to the vision of Digital India and setting up of smart cities.
VBS is growing at double the industry rate, year-on-year, with strong growth in fixed line and in SME business. As on March 31, 2016, VBS handles more than 7.5 million mobility customers.
