Pune-based Kohinoor Group to invest Rs 300 cr in logistics parks

Kohinoor Development Corporation (KDC), Pune-based real estate developer, proposes to set up two logistics parks in Maharashtra with an investment of INR 300 crore.
Vineet Goyal, KDC Joint Managing Director said, “We are setting up two logistics parks in Chakan and Ranjangaon in Maharashtra. The Rs 600 crore projects will be funded through 50:50 JV and we will invest around Rs 300 crore in the said project.”
These two logistics parks are proposed with 2 million square feet warehousing facilities for auto ancillary units over 100 acres of land. The Chakan unit will be ready by 2018 and Ranjangaon by 2020, Goyal added.
Kohinoor Group-Pune aiming to expand across business segments of commercial, retail, residential, and hospitality sectors.
The group has already developed and promoted over 4 million square feet projects in the commercial and residential segments across strategic locations especially in the PCMC area in Maharashtra.
The projects are Tinsel Town in Hinjewadi, Falcon in Sus, Grandeur in Ravet, High Points Value in Model Colony, Shangrilla & B-Zone in Pimpri, Saheel’s Calysta in Wakad, Saheel Fortune Park in Moshi, Shubhyog in Shirwal, Kohinoor Towerin Pimpri and Kohinoor Abiman in Samatane Phata in Pune.
Kohinoor Group is now going to enter into Thane, Nagpur and Nashik in Maharashtra for both residential as well as commercial projects.
It is also expecting  to commence project at Rajkot in Gujarat, where it has already acquired 25 acres of land.
