Get Fingerprint Scanner with Microsoft Windows 10 Mobile Phones

Fingerprint Scanner

Microsoft announced at its Win HEC conference this week that it plans to support fingerprint scanners with the Anniversary Update for Windows 10 Mobile Phones.
Microsoft has announced to add support for fingerprint authentication in its Windows 10 Mobile update this summer. Until now, the company only recommended alternative log-in options of facial and iris recognition. So far, the only known Windows 10 phone that is supposed to include a fingerprint sensor is the upcoming HP Elite X3, which can double as a pseudo-laptop and a desktop.
It’s not clear how many Windows phone makers will opt for fingerprint scanners, but the first device to support the latest functionality will be HP’s Elite x3. Microsoft remarks that some Windows Phone OEMs already have experience using fingerprint scanners from FPC and Synaptic, but that additional fingerprint scanners might need more work to combine the Windows Hello functionality. Microsoft is currently testing its Windows 10 Anniversary Update, and the company is supposed to release it for both desktop and mobile in late July.
