Dominor has arrived to Dominate the sub-500 class

Bajaj 400

Bajaj has recently launched its latest flagship model, Bajaj Dominor 400. It is the fastest, most powerful and the costliest bike to be released from the Pune-based companies’ stable. The launch event was also aired live over the internet.
Bajaj had teased the biker fanatics for a long-time after it first showcased this bike back in the 2014 Auto Expo. Back then, it was labeled as the Bajaj Pulsar CS400.Staying true to the character of a cruiser sport motorcycle, Bajaj has introduced only minute changes in the production-ready avatar. Due to this, Bajaj has been successful in introducing this bike with an introductory price tag of 1.36 lakh.
Why it will Dominate?
The new Bajaj Dominor 400, shares its power mill with the KTM Duke 390, but in a much de-tuned avatar. Due to this, Bajaj Dominor chomps out 34 bhp of power and 35 Nm of torque. It is a single cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4 valves, fuel-injected, triple-spark engine with an over-square bore. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper-clutch assist. The cycle parts are also a level above the rest from its peers with 43mm telescopic forks in the front, adjustable mono suspension at the rear, fully integrated LED head lamps with Auto Head Lamp On feature, a digital instrument cluster with one set over the fuel tank (inspired by Ducati Diavel). Braking duties are handled by disk brakes at both the end with dual-channel ABS coming as optional (Rs 1.5 lakh).
Who will buy it?
Anyone who is a Bajaj loyalist would not have a second thought when it comes to the Dominor 400. They know what the bike is, they know how it decimates the competition with its best-in-class features.
People who are looking for a cruiser, with a sporty stance can go for the Dominor. Those who are looking for a naked sports bike that can be used for those rare long rides can also opt for the Dominor 400.
Anyone looking for a sub-500 powerful cruiser, with a sporty character and an over the edge technology would go for the Dominor 400.
Bajaj proudly released a statement that this bike was released from a facility with an all-female engineer at the assembly line-up.
The bike is currently launched in around 22 cities and deliveries are supposed to begin from the start of January. Customers can also book their bikes online with a token amount of Rs 9,000.
Bajaj Dominor currently pits its competition with Royal Enfield and the Mahindra Mojo. With a lucrative price tag and value for money features, Bajaj seems to have hit the bull’s eye again.
